Centre of Excellence for Education of Health Professionals

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of healthcare professionals through research-driven and transformative educational approaches. The project focuses on advancing teaching-learning methods, promoting research in health professions education, developing innovative educational models for cardiometabolic diseases, and scaling innovations in nursing education.

The initiative emphasizes faculty development, curriculum enhancement, and evidence generation to inform policy and practice at the national level. By standardizing best practices and fostering a research-driven, technology-enabled learning ecosystem, the CoE seeks to improve the quality, consistency, and real-world readiness of health professions education across India.

National Medical College Network

National Medical College Network is a greenfield project established by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India in 2015 for the purpose of e-Education and e-Healthcare delivery. AIIMS, New Delhi currently leads the initiative as the Nodal Centre, supported by eight Regional Resource Centres (RRCs). Over 150 medical colleges nationwide are mapped to NMCN, forming a robust academic network for digital learning.
